I want to know when it became proper to use AOL speak in business communications. It is really so much more difficult to type "you" than "U". I refuse to sound out a message to try to figure out what it says.

I have never actually seen the show. I listen to Fresh Air every single day and she talks about The Wire - A LOT. That doesn't bother me, I just thought it was funny that someone else noticed.
And just how does one edit a comment? Nothing i tried works.
I guess the wire hour is the name of the program. new to me. maybe i need to listen to Terry more often.

continuing education
I have a continuing education class tomorrow. I feel like I’m being given in-school suspension. We have to do 40 hours of this sort of thing a year to maintain our licenses. We’ll do what we usually do; send text messages to each other and anyone else we can bother, have soduku and crossword races, doodle, and surf the net on our phones. It’s tedious and painful.
