- Found my husband's chart and it is three legal sheets long of the interwoven right wing machine in this country. I'm away from the area right now and don't know what's happening on wfae. And my second fave --BBC--isn't much up here where I am. I'm in wfae-withdrawal. Guess I am addicted to something.......

- Commentator and Financial Advisor Martha Katz put it right out there this morning! Just when will NPR give the political leanings of the think tanks and organizations it allows in its stories as the voice of authority?
I have a chart containing a couple of dozen of these institutes, foundations,centers,projects, forums, book writes, tv bigmouths, etc, with many more names of individuals. This web of right wing connections was constructed by my very intelligent and very much missed late husband. It needs some upgrading, but if anyone thinks all these right-wing "authorities" don't have an agenda--and Ms. Katz points out that they do-- this chart will show you different. They feed off each other
Wouldn't be so bad if the media identified their bias and gave more opportunities to the other side. Does anyone have a comparable organizational chart of the "authorities" on the left?
I'd like to see it. Probably pretty weak in comparison.
WFAE would be smart to give her a regular spot on the radio--as a public service.

This is for charlotte talks. Mike Collins is, IMHO, one of the best interviewers on radio......
He's talking as I write, about this issue of why we didn't know the economic collapse was coming.....
If he'd do a program on the right wing media and the spider web connections to Richard Mellon Scaife, he would be presenting a real eye opener.....
