In response to RubyTues comment on AOL speak, I have been known to pick up a dictionary (I find American Heritage works best) and bludgeon a person until they are reduced to pulp for sending me an email that reads; OMG LOL U2? I totally agree that t…

Wouldn't you just like to know. Maybe it's funding our governor's campaign NOT to accept federal funding.

I want to know when it became proper to use AOL speak in business communications. It is really so much more difficult to type "you" than "U". I refuse to sound out a message to try to figure out what it says.

One may not be wealthy enough to purchase a bar of soap or a tank of gas - however the use of good manners is totally a freebie and will definitely get you further than the soap or gas. Yes ma'am.

Do you teach etiquette? I think I need some lessons. You have a beautiful, kind face and a prickly sense of humor. I am a little person. Have you had friends of small stature like myself? Have you seen any of my films or commercials. I was in The Andy Griffith Show once, as "Benji." Later I starred in the noted art film "The Blue Door" (sometimes translated as the "Azure Hatch", which was shot in Turkey and the Adriatic. Now I work at Morgan Stanley HQ in Manhattan. I got squirted last week by David Letterman. Don't spread it around, please.
